Being motivated to disseminate information on Japan’s attractions through various communication tools, good academic achievements and social activism.\n5. Neither having participated in exchange or similar program(s) by the Government of Japan nor having lived in Japan.\n6. Respecting the spirit of reconciliation and cooperation in the Western Balkans.\n7. Having a valid passport.\n8. Applicants with demonstrated ties to Japan, whether through previous studies, cultural activities, or related experience, will be considered an asset\n9. Desirable that applicants have a proven track record in the fields of dealing with the past, reconciliation, regional cooperation and/or intercultural learning.","summary":"This youth exchange program, jointly organized by Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Regional Youth Cooperation Office, brings 13 Western Balkans students to Japan for a 7‑day cultural and academic experience focused on peacebuilding, reconciliation, and intercultural dialogue.
