OUR 2025-2026 GRANTS

With an $150,000 fundraising target, our grant awards will be divided into two bands of funding:

  • One $30,000 Transformation grant to facilitate a seismic change
  • Four $15,000 and seven $8,000 Resilience grants to help reinforce young farmers at ground level

WHO CAN APPLY

Our Farm Fund grants are open to farmers who are 40 and under in Australia, Europe, the USA and the UK who are committed to agroecological cultivation methods. We ask applicants to demonstrate how their project reinforces soil health, cultural & identity, biodiversity, innovation, accessible scale and education, and how a grant would reinforce the long term resilience and impact of their work. Check out our application guidelines to learn more about the grants available, check your eligibility and find answers to FAQs. READ OUR APPLICATION GUIDELINES As part of our commitment to building a more inclusive farming community, a third of each year’s funds are reserved for young people previously held back by social, racial or economic barriers.

We put our weight behind the farming projects and communities whose methods offer restorative alternatives to the intensive farming systems that are depleting our ecosystems and human health.

In focusing solely on agroecological growers of 40 and under, we want to build long term resilience into farming by giving those who might not otherwise be able to get a foot on the farming ladder a vital step up.

"My main goal is to understand how to transform systems that people have around me in order to regenerate land." 2024 Farm Fund Grantee Maria, Portalegre, Portugal

Why fund agroecology?

Over a third of all man-made greenhouse gas emissions result from food production and the way we eat is the single biggest driver of biodiversity loss on Earth. Changing our approach to farming will make or break the future of our planet. We’ve invested in better farming and food with flavour for almost two decades. In 2021, incited to accelerate our impact and formalise our action, we launched Farm Fund and have since donated over $200,000 to varied growing projects. With our backing, young farmers have taken on new land, diversified their crop planning, and built long-lasting infrastructure without having to compromise on their values or growing practices.
