Funding available for applied health/medical collaborations

Extra funding has been secured to support applied health/medical research collaborations between UK and France, Germany and Spain.

The British Council encourages universities and medical/health applied institutions interested in strengthening collaborations with any of these countries to apply for Springboard grants, a programme providing seed funding for research collaborations.

The call for applications is open until Wednesday 30 September 2026.
