Future Fit Dairy Initiative Landscape Call
Develop science-based frameworks for setting and validating thresholds and targets for regenerative dairy farming and a full Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) model to assess farm-level economics to guide financing and scaling
All EIT Food regions
various EU countries
Deadline: 28 October 2026
This Call aims to select a consortium to implement the Future Fit Dairy Initiative (FFDI) Landscape. This integrated assignment consists of three highly interdependent work packages focused on content development and coordination:
Work Package 1 (WP1) - Develop a robust and transferable methodology for defining science-based thresholds and targets for regenerative dairy farming, ensuring coherence across soil, biodiversity, water, and climate impacts while accounting for trade-offs and real-world farming conditions.
The definition of science-based thresholds and targets directly informs the development of the Cost-Benefit Analysis model (WP2), ensuring environmental targets are financially realistic and scalable at farm level.
Work Package 2 (WP2) - Develop a comprehensive Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) model to demonstrate farm-level economics and enable financing and scaling of regenerative farming in Europe.
Work Package 3 (WP3) - Coordination and alignment.
